caramel vs. toffee

Dark chocolate is one of those things I've come to appreciate in my older age. It's rich, sweet but not too sweet, and good for you, too. There are many fancy chocolate makers, but good ol' Trader Joe's is my go-to supplier for my dark chocolate fix. My latest obsession? These two new chocolate bars spotted at the checkout stand, one with caramel and black sea salt and another with toffee and nuts. I can't decide which one I like better. At $1.99 a pop, though, maybe I don't have to.

yummmm... pretty packaging too!
Oh my gosh, it doesn't really look like chocolate to me because of it packaging. But the more I read it, the more I can't resist it! You've got to go for the dark chocolate with toffee. Oh the walnuts and pecans. Just imagining it makes me envious!
found you through christine mason miller! my friend gave me some of the sea salt chocolate bars while I was visiting in santa barbara. they are to die for! I am hoarding the last one in the fridge! no trader joe's in canada to stock up! looking forward to seeing your contribution in print! congrats! ciao!
Yessss omg addicted currently to Lindt's Dark Chocolate with Sea Salt. Can't enjoy it enough when I get a big chunk of salt mid bite. Who knew????
Mmmm, I guess I'm heading to Trader Joe's tomorrow. Did you ever try brown butter, sea salt rice krispy treats? Same salty sweet combo...you can dip them in chocolate too! Yum:)
