henry's favorites : 1 year old

Henry is a very lucky boy. Not only does he get cool toys and clothes handed down from his cousin, Calder, but our incredibly generous friends and family shower him with all kinds of presents, too. I thought I'd start documenting what some of his favorites are. Above are a few of his 1st birthday treats that have especially caught his eye. We haven't let him open the Kid O and alphabet blocks, Zany Zoo Activity Cube, rocking zebra (not horse!) and kiddie pool yet, but I just know he'll love those, too.

p.s. The designer in me wants to carefully curate all his toys (and clean up while he plays), but let's face it. Kids like what they like. If that means gaudy and colorful plastic toys, so be it!

1. Richard Scarry's Cars and Trucks from A to Z ($3.99); 2. Plan Toys Stacking Ring ($12.61), Plan Toys Shape and Sort ($22.09), Plan Toys Oval Xylophone ($17.44); 3. Tommee Tippee Explora Truly Spill Proof Sippy Cup ($7.99 for 2); 4. JJ Cole Essentials Blanket ($29.95); 5. SugarBooger Yee Haw plate ($9.56); 6. Sesame Street Learning About Letters ($6.99); Fisher Price Little People Builders Stack 'N Sort Train ($17.99)
