there's a place for us
During the school year, when my husband Rama doesn't work full-time, I spend two days a week with my son Henry. (Notice I am careful not to call them "days off" because if I am in the thick of a design project—which, thankfully, is often—I do my work after Henry goes to bed.) Henry likes being out and about just like his mama, and he likes people just as much, so I am always looking for fun places to go on play dates with our friends. A spot like Moomah.

When I first laid eyes on the New York creative arts café, my heart might have stopped. It is exactly the kind of place I wish I could go to. Moomah serves up healthy, wholesome food alongside a helping of craft projects and art classes. Oh, and it's gorgeous. I could live in there.
And did I mention their identity and website are delightful?

Needless to say, I'm kind of in love.

Come to New York and we'll go for a visit! I'm already excited for glow-in-the-dark yoga... xoxo!
