art of the mixed cd

Someone once told me that a mixed tape was the way to his heart. I knew exactly what he meant, because I felt the same way. Of course, these days, tapes are obsolete and iPods have replaced the Discman, but 'round here mixed CDs are alive and well. Rama and I exchanged many a mixed CD during our courtship, and we still do as part of his yearly music exchange and just because.

One of my 35 Good Things is making a mixed CD for someone, and I've been having fun brainstorming themes, playlists and art. In my research, I dug up some of my favorite covers I've made over years. I have to admit, the mixes themselves aren't so bad, either. Wanna trade?

Christine, I am so game to trade!
We are in love with family dancing and making loud noises...so awesome music mixes are always welcome in our home!

I have one in mind already, Choo Choo Tunes. ALL ABOARD! (for long train rides, little boys, and moving forward)

I have to say, I love the all the covers but my favorite is Home is Where The Fart Is (same in our house)...curious to know the tunes on that one!
